Queen Of Blending inspired look

This look was inspired by the famous beauty guru, Lauren. Also known as QueenofblendingMUA. As you can see from the picture below, this is really dramatic. I wouldn’t expect anyone to want to wear this out but, hey, I would! :) Well… maybe without the super spider lashes. That part was kinda experimental.

Lauren is only one of the many gurus that truly inspire me. I love her because she isn’t afraid of beautiful dramatic looks as am I. I love colors and I’m not afraid to flaunt them. However I will say that these lashes aren’t to be used as an everyday thing. Haha! (All images below: click to enlarge.)

My other favorite Gurus include but are not limited to: iwanted2c1video, xsparkage, vintageortacky, sayanythingbrooke, temptalia, and themakeupgeek.

Products used in this look:

BH Cosmetics 120 Palette (2nd Edition)
BH Cosmetics 88 Tropical Shimmer Palette
Avon Glitter Liquid Eyeliner (silver)
Ayevanity Cosmetics color in Seel
NYX Eyeshadow in Pretty Pink Pearl
NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk
Smashbox Gel Eyeliner Duo (black)
ELF Eyelid Primer (Studio)
Maybelline BIG Lashes Mascara
I have no idea about the lashes, I bought them at Walmart for $2.

Maybelline FITme Liquid Foundation in 110
Maybelline FITme Pressed Powder in 110
ELF Studio Blush in Tickled Pink
ELF Studio Blush in Pink Passion

Avon Dazzlewear lipgloss in a color that doesn’t exist anymore.

You rock this look! It took me a while to work my way up to doing more dramatic looks but I’m really liking playing with more bold colours. Love the spidery lashes :)

I love her! She’s so funny. (: The lashes are wow. Really like the look though!
I wanted to ask how you made the eyeshadows? I’m starting my own company soon & I wanted to try it out first to see if I would like the formula.

Thanks for answering my question! I have one more if you don’t mind. (:
How many oz/lbs do you buy of each pigment? Since I’m just starting out, I don’t want to buy too much.

    • Reply Amber November 23, 2011 at 7:29 AM

Well when I just started and making recipes, I only bought a tablespoon of each. the 1$ or whatever bag. :) but now, I buy an ounce at a time.
