Hair, Life/Social

I’m officially 21

I kinda look funny in this picture, but it was the only one from my birthday that wasn’t terrible. (It’s also my last instagram post, if you follow me on there. If you don’t, you should!) My birthday was on the first of this month. The day was uneventful but I was able to share a nice dinner with my closest friends. We went and got burgers and I had my first *legal* beer! It was pretty good, I wasn’t able to finish it because I had to drive. :( My boyfriend is a dummy and doesn’t have his license yet (even though he’s freaking 23..)

I’m looking forward for this year because I know this is going to be a good year. It’s going to give me the opportunity I need to finally succeed. I believe it. I absolutely believe it. 2014 Started off okay, but ended on the worst possible note. And 2015 will be my bitch. I’m just tired of living my life in a depressed state. I’m over being depressed. I just want to live my fucking life already.

Anyway, yay, alcohol! <3 :)

Yay 21! I remember my 21st.. My first *legal* drink. An alcoholic orgy boil.. At an oriental spot.

Now prefer to drink to enjoy. Hang overs are the worst! Luckily you’re able to share. :P As alcohol can make you forgetful the next day. And act as a depressent as well. But a little in moderation, you should be fine.

From a far via online blogging. (hope I don’t sound creepy :/ ) I’m sorry to hear you are deadealing with depression. Actually the majority of people do. As do I. You that and other issues. But fear not there are plenty of things that help tackle and lessen it. You sound like you’re on the right mental track. Glad to hear you want to make this year the best year. :D

I’ll be making it a point to lurk less and comment more in the future. I’m looking forward to visiting your blog a lot more often. :)

Alcohol is overrated. That being said, I’m a whisky geek, I love fine rare whiskies, I’m a part of a local malt whisky association, and see you have a nice Bushmills there. :)
Drink only because you like the flavour. Drinking to soothe depression will only make things worse. Sorry for sounding like a nagging mother now…
